Navigating the Road to Recovery: Support & Resources After Cyclone Alfred

As we move into the recovery phase following Cyclone Alfred, our thoughts are with everyone affected. We recognise that this storm has impacted people in different ways. Some have returned to work, while others are still without power or facing significant damage to their homes and businesses. It’s important to support one another, listen with empathy, and take steps toward rebuilding.

To help make this process smoother, we’ve compiled a list of essential resources, including emergency assistance, financial relief, and community support.

Essential Services & Local Support

  • Fallen trees or potholes? Please contact Brisbane City Council online here or call 07 3403 8888.
  • Currently without power? Check the Energex website for a list of outages and estimated restoration times. Visit here.

Please know that support is available, and we encourage you to reach out to organisations such as Lifeline (13 11 14) or Beyond Blue (1300 22 4636) as needed during this challenging time.

In the meantime, you can review available government assistance through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
